I think I'm crazy. I set up two VMs (One is Windows 11, the other is a Linux distribution) behind a pfSense firewall (also virtualised) and configured the firewall to connect to Mullvad via WireGuard by following the tutorial Mullvad have on their website.
The Internet on the Windows VM works fine and the traffic goes through Mullvad, but the Linux VM works for a few minutes and then just stops working. Everything loads really slowly or not at all. I've even tried a different Linux distribution to not avail. I've even removed the firewall VM, reinstalled it and tried using OpenVPN but same story there, it works on the Windows 11 VM but not on the Linux one.
I thought it was a DNS issue at first, but even pinging IP addresses doesn't work on the Linux VM until it does briefly and then stops working again.
